In line with the announcement, the Minister of Labour has announced a record increase in the net minimum wage in 2023. <strong>The net minimum wage in 2023<\/strong> will therefore be \u20ac100 higher than the minimum wage in 2022. This means that the net minimum wage in 2023 is \u20ac878.48.  <\/p>\n<h2>Minimum wage 2023 net and gross<\/h2>\n<p>Two criteria are used to calculate the 2023 minimum wage, the minimum cost of living and the annual inflation rate in December 2022. The <strong>net minimum wage for 2023 <\/strong>is therefore <strong>\u20ac878.48<\/strong>. This means that the net minimum wage has risen by \u20ac100, the highest in more than a decade.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>The minimum wage in 2023<\/strong> will be <strong>\u20ac1,203.36<\/strong><strong>gross<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The new 2023 minimum wage<\/strong> is therefore expected to apply to wage payments in February 2023. The increase in the minimum wage will also result in a higher minimum hourly rate for temporary and casual work for school pupils, students and pensioners.
